Plastic Moon is pretty much the foundation off of which I built the rest of the album. It's themes and textures are in depth and recur in most every other song. It is about becoming separate from the world through artificial means. The earth is going about it's own business while I built myself an artificial satellite to separate myself from the earth and observe it. It is about losing the sun and imagining the moon can fill the void. Losing everything that you love and convincing yourself that isolating yourself will keep you out of the darkness.
